About Me
A novice coder with growing skills and an obsessive drive to build useful things.
Hey — I’m Jason B. I started teaching myself to code in mid-2025 with nothing but a laptop and a decent work ethic, free tutorials, and endless AI prompting. No college degree (yet — working on funding that), no fancy background, etc. Just late nights, endless prompting, and the stubborn belief that if I break something enough times I’ll eventually figure out how it works.
I spent over a month iterating the physics and tilt controls for my first real project; OrbitTimer; a retro-style arcade game I built completely from scratch. Every function, every sound, every frustrating collision bug is mine. I’ve got a second game finished and more tools in the pipeline. Everything on this site comes straight from my own trial-and-error, screenshots included, so you can skip the dead ends I already fell into.
I’m not selling courses or pretending to be a guru. I’m documenting what actually works right now in 2025 while I learn it, one prompt at a time. This site is my public notebook, my portfolio, and hopefully the thing that helps pay for my reading habit and education. If a complete beginner with zero credentials can ship real projects that people play and use, you definitely can too.
